Sunday School
Our Sunday School Department has classes for children ages 18 months through 18 years old. We use a curriculum that follows along with the lessons that the adult service is learning about. Your children will have a great time making crafts and eating snacks that go along with the lesson that day. At Victory Community Church we even have a special sensory room for children with sensory needs. We have trained individuals in that class who are trained on each child.
Lighthouse Recovery Center
Our mission at the Lighthouse Recovery Center is to see people set free from the chains of addiction, dysfunctional lifestyles, and to break the recidivism rate of those incarcerated. We accomplish this through the power of Jesus Christ, using faith-based programming, as well as evidence-based treatment in a therapeutic community setting.
Youth Ministry
Our Youth Ministry is filled with students in an authentic relationship with Jesus, who are planted and thriving in the church, creating meaningful relationships, seeking God’s best in all things, and making a difference in our world. They go to different conferences and rallies throughout the year as well as help serve the community.
The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon. Planted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish in the courts of our God. Psalms 92:12-13
Drama and Mime Ministry
Throughout history there has been dramatic dance, which expresses or imitates emotions, character, and narrative action. VCC drama team practices a Christian form of dramatic sign language in which the individuals movements depict an emotion or tell a story. This teams form of worship flows out into the congregation setting an atmosphere conducive to the Holy Ghost. Their movements are not restricted but expressive of feelings.
“But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.” (John 4:23 NKJV)
Heaven's Soup Kitchen and Homeless Ministry
We exist to serve others by showing God’s love in practical ways through meeting the needs within our communities. Simple acts of personal kindness can open hearts to the love of Jesus for both those being served and those serving. The VCC Outreach team is made up of individuals who are using their gifts and talents to glorify God by serving others.
Heavens Kitchen is an example of our outreach program. It is a soup kitchen full of hospitality, kindness and love. Here we are able to minister through food, singing, and testimonies from people who have overcome and have been blessed by the love of Jesus Christ.
Special Needs
We understand the rise in special needs and have an increased desire to meet those specific needs. At VCC we have delegated an entire room geared towards special needs individuals, specifically with sensory issues. This room is opened every service and has sensory specialists available on Sunday mornings during Sunday school for children that may need a little extra help and attention!
